My girls

Hey everyone! I hope you are having a great September. I have been really busy with school starting for me a few weeks ago, school starting for the girls, buying a house hopefully to close on soon), trying to rent our townhouse out, and so much more. I already miss summer but I do like this weather. It is so nice outside. I love the weather that you can just keep your windows and doors open and not get too hot or too cold. That weather never stays around for too long though. I took my girls out to the beach the other night to get some pictures of the two of them together and some of just the youngest one because I already did a photo shoot of just the older one. I LOVE this one of the two of them. The only thing I told them to do was stand next to each other, and as icing on the cake the little one grabbed the older one's hand in such a sweet way and leaned her head on her shoulder. This one is going on the wall for sure.

The Justice Family | Cousins

In July my family got together with my brother and sister and law and their daughter to celebrate the girls birthdays. All the girls (the three of them) turned 5,4, and 3 within the same week in July so we wanted to get them together to celebrate. My very awesome Uncle was kind enough to let us use his beach house for the weekend and while we were there we did a photo shoot. It was a lot of fun to see the girls playing together. Here is just one of many favorites! :D

Free time | Never

Do you wish you had more free time? I do too! Whoah, exciting stuff!

This post has nothing to do with my photography, but it does have to do with my personal life. We made an offer to buy our first home two and a half weeks ago, today we found out after what seemed like forever that they accepted our offer! Our closing date is August 25th! So SOON! We are beyond thrilled and I just wanted to share our joy with all of my wonderful clients and potential clients!

Karleigh | The Ballerina Silhouette

We went this weekend as a family to Mt Trashmore to fly kites. It was so much fun! While we were on top of the mountain I saw how beautiful the sun looked and I wanted to try taking silhouette photos. This is my oldest daughter doing her "ballerina moves", as she calls them. I really love how this one turned out! I want to do some at the beach so I will have the sun setting over the water. Hopefully this weekend when we go out of town I will be able to do that with the girls and their cousin.

I want to win a lens because I could use a better zoom lens. Right now all I have is my kit lens and I don't like the DOF on it. I would use it at photo shoots especially for families. I have three lenses right now - my kit lens, a 50 1.8, and a 60 2.8 (macro), but I mainly use my 50.

My girls made silly faces for daddy for Father's day! He is going to be able to look at his girl's silly faces every day at work! The girls had so much fun making silly faces for daddy!

I have not shared any photos of my girls yet so I wanted to do that. I took this the other day when they were playing around in the back yard. They are just so precious and I love them so much. :D

Zoe and Emma | Best Friends

I was at a birthday party today for a friend of mine's son. It was a nice small gathering. The kids were in the back yard playing and they were all in the little house outside. Well Zoe and Emma were so cute and I asked them to smile for me. The did so nicely and I got the MOST darling picture!
